 Ans: 

1. The mother will get 1/6 if entitled descendant exist(son and daughter and their children) or brothers and sisters exist.

2. The mother's share will be 1/3 if neither children's, brothers, sisters, father nor spouse exist.

3. The mother will get 1/3 of residue if brothers, sisters, father or spouse exist.

Here the 1/3 of residue is due to existence of father.
